*** Crack the Sky -- White Music

This was the other half of the double pack that I bought to get the first Crack the Sky album. It marked the return of John Palumbo to the band after his brief absence, but not really a return to the good old days. With the exception of the fantastic "Songs of Soviet Sons", this is a pretty undistinguished album, influenced greatly by the "new wave" movement of the time (this was a 1980 release). A couple of these "trendy" tracks are kind of catchy ("All American Boy", "Hot Razors in My Heart"), but I'm not a fan of the rest, and wouldn't have likely bought the CD if it wasn't to get the first album.
