**** Il Trono Dei Ricordi -- Il Trono Dei Ricordi
I got this on the recommendation of a fellow prog listener, and wasn't disappointed. A very good CD, truly reminiscent of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, if said band was led by a heavy metal vocalist. I've really been running into a rash of ELP clones lately, between the box set that follows this, and a couple of Mastermind CDs I haven't included here yet. This one has four songs which are heavy on the keyboards, but with some very tasy guitar mixed in. Lyrics by William Blake, proof that if you can't do it right, hire an expert. (For the less literature minded, Blake was an English poet who died about 170 years ago.)
