Amendment: Freestyle Motocross: McGrath VS Pastrana (PSOne)

In retrospect, I wholeheartedly regret giving an awful game like Freestyle Motocross: McGrath VS Pastrana a score as high as 6.2. I am almost ashamed that I could have misled anyone to think that Freestyle Motocross is anything less than a horrible piece of gaming tripe; a game that defies all sense of logic in game design that equals to an experience that makes one plead for death while playing.

GRAPHICS AMENDMENT:
Low-res textures, graphical glitches, and low frame rates run rampant through this eyesore of this game. It is absolutely the worst game graphically (If not in all other fields) I've seen this year.

DOWNSIDES:
The game has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Forget whatever you have read before, this game is a pile of rancid elephant dung, and I can't say how incredibly bad this game is any more nicely. This game is not those fancy elephant droppings that the beetles eat either, this game is like the stuff that you peel off construction worker's boots with a gum scraper. The trick's controls are unresponsive; the graphics aren't average, they are prone to glitches and draw in. The multiplayer is even worse. In multiplayer mode the game skips frames. The music isn't even average and at times it doesn't play at all.

BOTTOM LINE:
There are three modes and they are all the same. The game has 2 riders and they are both the same. It has 3 tire choices and they are practically the same. There is no reason to play this game more than once before you lock it in your closet so no-one will see it and make fun of you for buying such a horrible game. This game makes me shudder in sheer disgust, and if the old review gave you the idea that buying this game might be worthwhile, please accept my sincere apologies. I'm going to lose sleep about this for months, sigh.

SOUND: 2/10
- You mean that buzzing in the background?

GRAPHICS: 4/10
- Do the words Sega Genesis ring a bell. It seems as though Acclaim took a clue from Genesis' Lotus 2 for the track design.

CONTROL: 4/10
- Bad; very, very bad.

REPLAY VALUE: 2/10

FUN: 2/10
- What was I thinking earlier?

OVERALL: 2.8/10
